Mathias Mpuuga’s Democratic Front Hits Back at Busoga Radio Callers Over 500M
Social Media has been thrown into a blaze after an X page linked to Hon Mathias Mpuuga branded people from Busoga as villagers who can’t afford data.
This followed the Nyendo-Mukungwe MP’s appearance on a radio station in the area.
Callers asked in asking the MP about the 500M service award that was controversial and had him sacked by NUP and also deposed as Leader of Opposition. In response to the questions, an X page in the names of the Democratic Front Alliance hit back at the callers.
It called them villagers who were trained and planted by NUP to try and embarrass Mpuuga. Additionally, they said that there’s no way such people could have knowledge about such matters.
“Those people of Busoga who called in the program as our national coordinator was on the radio program were coached by NUP and other jealous people. You can’t convince us at DF that a Musoga villager who can’t afford data has knowledge about the service award and even knows that previous LoPs were not awarded. That alone shows these callers were planted. We stand by our leader, Mathias Mpuuga, after all the 500m has helped us start our party. We need resources to operate.”
However, many are wondering if this page is officially linked to the MP and his new party, the Democratic Front, DF, or it’s just a parody account.
The MP has faced a lot of character assassination since his fallout with the NUP. This has stemmed from the party’s keyboard warriors and top hierarchy, including the party president, Bobi Wine himself.
