Kampala Woman MP Shamim Malende Mourns Fallen Father
Sad news coming in indicate how the Kampala woman MP Hon Shamim Malende is currently mourning the death of her father.
Taking to her X page, the MP posted the update to her followers and the general public.
“Lost my biological father JAMAL-AHMED SEBUTA MALENDE. Inna lilaahi wa-inna lilaahi rajuun,” she posted a picture of herself seated alongside her now deceased father.
More information regarding the burial process will be communicated in due time. This comes at a time the MP too herself has been battling health complications.
Malende has spent almost half her 5 year parliamentary term in hospital. Her health deteriorated in the past couple of months requiring her to be transported to Kenya for urgent medical attention.
However, she seems to be on the road to full recovery and is expected to be in pole position to reclaim her parliamentary seat come next year.
