Sheilah Gashumba Heaps Praise on Bebe Cool & Joshua Baraka's Collaboration

Socialite, entrepreneur, and social media influencer Sheilah Gashumba has heaped praise on Big Size Bebe Cool and Joshua Baraka over their new collaboration titled Cheque.

This is one of the songs off the Gagamel boss’ Break The Chains Album.

This song has grossed the highest number of plays on YouTube, collecting over 100k plays since the album was released at the start of this month.

Taking to her X account, Sheilah said that this is a “Smooth Collab” and it’s fire. Many reacted to her tweet, saying that indeed the two had cooked on the song.

A danceable sweet jam, both singers on point, and it’s no wonder that it has turned out to be the pace setter for other songs on the album. Blending Uganda’s old generation in Bebe Cool and the new skool in Baraka, this song will undoubtedly go places.

Meanwhile, the album is close to 500k plays on YouTube alone since its release about two weeks ago.

The ‘Wire Wire’ singer has kept pushing and promoting it, and reviews from fans as well as analysis have all been positive. Produced in Nigeria for close to a year, Bebe Cool said that he wants to tap into the new wave of Afro Beats, and this is the reason he named it Break The Chains.

Dr. Jose Chameleone Releases Teaser of His Anticipated Song With Professor Jay

Ugandan heavyweight singer Dr Jose Chameleone has released a sneak peek into his upcoming collaboration with Tanzanian singer turned politician Professor Jay.

Taking to his Instagram page, the Leone Island boss released a short video of about 10 seconds, which left fans yearning for more. The song titled Ebenezer, just as the title suggests, will be a Thanksgiving and gospel song.

It should be noted that the two East African heavyweights collaborated almost two decades ago on the chart-topping song Sivyo Ndivyo. This song turned out to be a huge banger across Africa and remains a classic to date.

Additionally, the two singers have remained close friends, and the former Mikumi constituency member of Parliament warmly welcomed the Valu Valu singer during his thanksgiving ceremony in Tanzania recently, following his recuperation from his recent illness, where he was hospitalized in the US for about four months.

Keep tuned as we shall be dropping you more updates about this song once it pops up on the charts.
