The album’s fusion of African rhythms with international influences has sparked conversation, with fans on X echoing her praise while others questioned its “new sound” label.

Sheilah Gashumba’s review, just three weeks after the album’s drop, suggests growing buzz, supported by a 2024 Music Business Worldwide report noting a 15% streaming increase for high-quality African albums. Bebe Cool is currently on a media tour promoting this album, and there’s no doubt it’s doing very well.

While fans still dream of a reunion, Bebe Cool has made it clear that unless something big changes, a musical comeback with Bobi Wine isn’t on the list.

For now, both artists remain focused on their separate journeys—Bobi in politics, Bebe on his music legacy.
